A Listening Ear. A Creative Mind. A Practical Partner.
I’m Shannon Parish. I enjoy listening to people talk about work that matters to them—what they’re building, what feels tangled, and what they hope to make possible.
I ask questions, notice connections, and help ideas take shape. Sometimes that begins with a conversation or a page of visual notes. As the direction becomes clearer, I draw on my experience in writing, design, illustration, and websites to help move the work forward.
My best client relationships grow from shared enthusiasm, honest conversation, and respect for what each of us brings to the table.
The Person Behind the Work
My path has brought together art, technology, coaching, ministry, and a lifelong curiosity about people. Since 2001, I’ve supported authors, speakers, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits as they find ways to express and share their work.
Through those experiences, I’ve come to appreciate how much thoughtful listening matters. A conversation can reveal the connection between seemingly unrelated ideas—or help someone recognize a strength they’ve overlooked.
I think visually, often with a pen in my hand. Drawing, storytelling, and humor help me explore possibilities and make complicated thoughts easier to understand.
My own experiences of loss, change, and starting again also inform how I work. I respect that a meaningful project belongs to a person with a life beyond it. The direction we choose needs to make sense for both.
Let’s See Whether We’re a Good Fit
I’m interested in working with people who care about what they’re creating and welcome thoughtful conversation along the way.
If you’re looking for a creative partner to help you think things through and put ideas into practice, tell me a little about your project and the support you’re seeking.
